The safety and wellbeing of the people we support is our highest priority. This page explains how we approach safeguarding and how to raise a concern.
If someone is in immediate danger
Call 999 immediately. If the person is at risk but not in immediate danger, contact the Local Authority Adult Safeguarding Team or call our safeguarding lead directly.
Our safeguarding commitment
White Oak Care is committed to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of all adults we support. We follow all relevant legislation, statutory guidance, and local authority safeguarding procedures.
All staff receive safeguarding training before working independently, and this training is refreshed annually. We have a named Designated Safeguarding Lead who is responsible for overseeing all safeguarding matters.
We operate a culture of openness where concerns can be raised freely and are taken seriously. No concern is too small. We would always rather investigate and find nothing than fail to act on a legitimate concern.
